Inspiring the (very) young generation.

Morchard Bishop pre-school were learning about jobs. We were contacted by a parent and asked if a doctor would visit to give a short interactive talk. Dr Alex Degan, accompanied by Louise, who is a dispenser at our Cheriton Fitzpaine site, visited the school on the 24th March 2025. The children really enjoyed their visit from Dr Degan and had plenty of fun trying out the thermometers and oximeters. Thank you for inviting us to your school.

Proposed Merger of Amicus Health and Mid Devon Medical Practice

Amicus Health (Clare House, Tiverton and Bampton Surgeries) and Mid Devon Medical Practice (Witheridge, Morchard Bishop and Cheriton Fitzpaine Surgeries) are looking to work more closely together and are exploring options for a future merger. The partners of both practices already have a long history of working together to improve patient care. This feels like a natural progression for both practices to strengthen our position in continuing to provide high quality NHS care to our patients long into the future.

We are undertaking some engagement with our patients about the possibility of the merger and are seeking your views on this proposal. We invite you to complete a short survey to share your thoughts.
